Additionally, Disney After Hours will return in 2025, offering separately ticketed events at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios. Guests can enjoy extended park hours with reduced crowds, along with complimentary snacks such as popcorn and ice cream.

Looking Ahead: Transformations in 2026 and New Lands by 2027

In 2026, Hollywood Studios’ Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will receive a Muppets-themed overhaul, featuring the beloved characters in a high-energy ride complete with backstage chaos and rock remixes. Meanwhile, Magic Kingdom’s Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will be refreshed with new scenes, updated ride vehicles, and enhanced gameplay.

Significant expansions are also planned for 2027 and beyond. Tropical Americas will debut at Animal Kingdom, spotlighting the diverse cultures and landscapes of Central and South America with attractions inspired by Encanto and Indiana Jones.

Magic Kingdom will gain Piston Peak National Park, a new area in Frontierland themed around the Cars franchise. This “wheelderness” setting will feature national park-inspired sights and family-friendly attractions.

Hollywood Studios will introduce Monstropolis, a Monsters, Inc.-themed land centered around a first-of-its-kind suspended coaster that simulates zooming through the Door Vault, bringing the film’s world to life.

Finally, the eagerly anticipated Villains Land will open in Magic Kingdom, gathering Disney’s most iconic villains in a new themed area complete with two rides, dining experiences, retail shops, and a distinctly villainous atmosphere.

These upcoming additions underline Walt Disney World’s commitment to innovation and immersive storytelling, ensuring that visitors continue to find fresh magic and wonder with each visit.
