Tiruchi, May 30 — Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi visited two prominent temples in Tiruchi on Thursday evening, offering prayers at the Srirangam Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple and the Arulmigu Jambukeswarar Akilandeswari Temple at Tiruvanaikoil.
Accompanied by his wife, Laxmi Ravi, the Governor began his visit at the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple. Upon arrival at the Ranga Ranga Gopuram, the couple was accorded a traditional reception with poorna kumbha mariyadhai by temple priests and officials.
Governor Ravi offered prayers at the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Ranganatha and also paid obeisance to Goddess Ranganayaki Thayar.
Following this, the Governor and his spouse proceeded to the Jambukeswarar Akilandeswari Temple, where they performed worship and received temple honors.
The visit was part of the Governor’s spiritual engagements in the region and was marked by traditional rituals and formal hospitality from temple authorities.
