Fire Erupts at Jogye Temple Office and Buddhist Museum in Central Seoul

A fire broke out on Tuesday at the general affairs office of Jogye Temple and the adjacent Central Buddhist Museum in Jongno District, central Seoul.

According to Yonhap News Agency, monks and staff evacuated the premises safely. Firefighters responded promptly to the scene as thick black smoke billowed from the museum building connected to the temple.

Authorities are currently managing the situation to contain the blaze and assess the extent of the damage.
