ALLENTOWN, Pa. — June 4, 2025 — Demonstrating a commitment to community service, the Dorney Park Cares Team recently partnered with Camelot for Children, a nonprofit organization in Allentown that supports children with disabilities and those facing chronic or terminal illnesses.
Volunteers from the amusement park took on a variety of improvement projects at the Camelot campus, including landscaping, painting, minor repairs, and organizing shared spaces. The initiative aimed to ensure the facility remains a safe, welcoming environment for the nonprofit’s summer programs, which serve children and families in the region.
The collaboration underscores the positive impact of local partnerships, highlighting how organizations can drive meaningful change through hands-on involvement. Camelot for Children will now be better equipped to offer enriching educational and social opportunities to its young participants, thanks to the contributions of the Dorney Park Cares Team.
Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom Kicks Off 2025 Season
Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom officially opened for its 141st season on May 9, 2025. The park is featuring a full lineup of family-friendly entertainment, including the return of Iron Menace, the Northeast’s first dive roller coaster, now entering its second season.
The park continues to offer over 60 rides, shows, and attractions, along with a waterpark and designated children’s areas such as Planet Snoopy. Seasonal events are planned throughout the summer, promising diverse experiences for guests of all ages.
