KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The opening of Oceans of Fun, Kansas City’s popular water park, has been delayed due to unseasonably cold temperatures, according to an announcement from park officials on Thursday.
Originally scheduled to open earlier in the season, the water park will now welcome guests beginning Saturday, May 31. Despite the delay, the adjacent Worlds of Fun amusement park remains on track to open daily as planned.
