Wildfire Burns Over 43 Acres Near Frazier Mountain Park Road, Evacuation Warnings Issued

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A vegetation fire erupted Thursday afternoon near Frazier Mountain Park Road, prompting a rapid response from firefighting crews and the issuance of multiple evacuation warnings, according to the Kern County Fire Department.

The blaze was first reported shortly before 2 p.m. at 1442 Frazier Mountain Park Road. Ground crews, including hand teams and firefighting equipment, were quickly dispatched to contain the fire as it moved through brush in the area.

Officials confirmed the fire spread across approximately 43.1 acres. In response to the growing threat, evacuation warnings were issued for zones KRN-563, KRN-559, KRN-555, KRN-557, KRN-549, and KRN-547.
