Europa-Park, Germany’s largest theme park, has unveiled a major new addition to its resort: Silver Lake City, a Wild West-themed holiday complex designed to enhance the guest experience with immersive Western-style accommodations and amenities.
The newly launched development is an extension of the park’s former Camp Resort and introduces 36 Western Houses and 68 caravan pitches. These additions complement the resort’s existing range of themed lodgings, which include covered wagons, log cabins, tipi tents, and caravan spaces.
Silver Lake City features several new leisure and dining facilities. Central to the offering is the Diner Station, styled as an Old West railway depot and complete with a train replica for guest seating. The adjacent Wild Horse Bar serves drinks in a traditional saloon setting. Family-friendly attractions at the site include an adventure playground featuring a steam train, the Gold Rush Golf mini-golf course, a swimming lake, and designated campfire areas.
According to a press release from Europa-Park, “Silver Lake City is a new milestone in the resort’s history and promises adventure, relaxation and entertainment for all the family.”
In response to anticipated visitor demand, the park has constructed approximately 700 additional parking spaces adjacent to the new development.
Looking ahead, Silver Lake City is set for further expansion. Plans for 2026 include the opening of Riverside Western Lodge, which will add 120 rooms to the accommodation portfolio, alongside a brewery that will produce Europa-Park’s own beer.
Founded in 1975 by Roland Mack and his father Franz Mack, Europa-Park remains a family-owned enterprise known for its themed experiences and innovative attractions, many developed by the park’s own ride manufacturing company, Mack Rides.
The park continues to expand its offerings with recent major additions, including Voltron Nevera, its 14th roller coaster, launched in 2024 within the new Croatia-themed area. In addition to its six themed hotels, Europa-Park also operates Rulantica, a €180 million indoor water park.
