A popular tourist destination in Nottinghamshire is set to host a vibrant two-day celebration to mark its first birthday. Adventures, located on the scenic shore of King’s Mill Reservoir within the Mill Waters site in Sutton-in-Ashfield, will open its doors for a special event on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July.

Managed by Nottinghamshire County Council’s outdoor environmental education service, Notts Outdoors, Adventures offers an array of thrilling activities designed to engage visitors of all ages. The anniversary weekend promises excitement with its signature high-adventure features, including:

“Adventures not only offers thrilling experiences but also supports health and wellbeing by encouraging young people and families to engage in outdoor activities,” Bhogal stated. “The birthday weekend is set to be an exceptional event, and I encourage as many people as possible to enjoy the facilities amidst the beautiful setting of King’s Mill Reservoir. We anticipate Adventures will continue to be a favored tourist destination for years to come.”

Adventures will operate from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both 5 and 6 July and will remain open daily throughout the upcoming summer holidays.
