Paultons Park in Hampshire has been ranked the second-best theme park in the United Kingdom for 2025, according to a new analysis conducted by Outdoor Toys.
Located near Ower, the family-focused theme park maintained its runner-up position from last year’s study, which assessed attractions across the country using metrics such as entry fees, number of rides, average hotel costs, and customer satisfaction ratings on TripAdvisor.
The analysis identified Paultons Park as a standout destination for both young children and thrill-seeking families. The park is home to 36 rides, including nine attractions themed around the popular children’s television character Peppa Pig. This strong thematic offering contributed significantly to its high ranking.
Despite being noted as the most expensive park in the study, Paultons Park boasts a 4.5-star average rating on TripAdvisor, with over 71% of its 10,940 reviews rated as “excellent”—the highest proportion among all parks surveyed. In addition, the park offers 12 food outlets, second only to Gulliver’s World, providing a wide range of dining options including Ciao Bella ice cream shop and the Wild Forest Family Restaurant.
Outdoor Toys praised the park for delivering a comprehensive experience, writing: “Paultons Park is the ideal destination for Peppa Pig lovers and adrenaline-seeking families alike.”
Visitor testimonials support the high ranking, with guests consistently commending the park’s cleanliness, customer service, and family-friendly atmosphere. One reviewer highlighted the park’s attentiveness, noting gestures such as free water on hot days and special birthday acknowledgments. Others described it as “undoubtedly one of the best theme parks in the UK for kids,” and applauded the wide range of attractions suitable for both children and adults.
