NAKIJIN, Okinawa Prefecture — Junglia Okinawa, a sprawling nature-themed luxury park located in the northern region of Okinawa’s main island, is set to open its doors to the public on July 25. The 60-hectare attraction, situated between the city of Nago and the village of Nakijin, was unveiled to the press ahead of its grand opening.
Built around the concept of harmonizing the natural environment with upscale experiences, Junglia Okinawa features a variety of immersive attractions. At its center stands the park’s symbolic Junglia Tree — a towering structure measuring 14.5 meters in height and 12 meters in width, surrounded by native Okinawan flora including banyan trees and Erythrina variegata.
Among the park’s standout features is the Infinity Spa, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding forest landscape and open sky, creating a serene and visually striking retreat for visitors.
Adventurous guests can experience a zip line ride that traverses the natural terrain or engage in a thrilling attraction designed to simulate being pursued by a dinosaur.
Culinary offerings are centered at the Tropical Oasis restaurant, located adjacent to the spa. The venue will serve dishes highlighting local Okinawan ingredients, further reinforcing the park’s commitment to regional culture and nature.
Junglia Okinawa aims to provide a distinctive blend of relaxation, excitement, and environmental beauty, positioning itself as a unique destination in Japan’s tourism landscape.
