SEOUL, South Korea — Lotte World Adventure is set to unveil the world’s first theme park attraction based on the Monsterverse franchise with the launch of Kong x Godzilla: The Ride. Slated to open in December, the highly anticipated dark ride is currently under construction on the site formerly occupied by the Jungle Adventure attraction.
The ride promises a high-intensity, immersive journey through the kingdom of Kong, featuring the legendary ape in a new narrative alongside Godzilla. This marks a significant expansion of the Monsterverse into themed entertainment, offering fans a unique opportunity to experience the cinematic universe in a new dimension.

Developed under license from Legendary Entertainment and Japan’s Toho Co., Kong x Godzilla: The Ride arrives on the heels of the latest franchise announcement — the film Godzilla x Kong: Supernova, which is currently in production and expected to release in 2027.
The new attraction is part of Lotte World Adventure’s broader strategy to leverage globally recognized intellectual properties to enhance its lineup and compete on the international stage of theme park innovation.
