The ranking, which assessed 26 UK seaside towns, evaluated destinations based on a variety of entertainment-related factors. These included the number of amusement and water parks, live music venues, bars and restaurants, casinos, local landmarks, beaches, and escape rooms.
Blackpool emerged as the clear frontrunner, boasting the highest number of amusement parks (12), casinos (13), and landmarks (67) among all locations reviewed. The town’s extensive entertainment offerings also include 30 live music venues and an impressive total of 520 bars and restaurants.
Key attractions contributing to Blackpool’s top ranking include the historic Blackpool Tower, the popular Pleasure Beach amusement park, and its vibrant seafront piers. These features, combined with a rich nightlife and diverse culinary scene, solidify Blackpool’s status as the ultimate summer destination for leisure and entertainment in the UK.
