A new Zipit Forest Adventures park is set to open in Djouce Park, County Wicklow, on July 18, 2025. This marks the fourth location for Zipit Forest Adventures, joining existing sites in Tibradden Wood (Dublin), Farran Forest Park (Cork), and Lough Key Forest Park (Roscommon).
The Djouce Park adventure park is designed to cater to a wide range of visitors. The high ropes course features over 20 elements, including ziplines and balance bridges, reaching heights of up to 12 meters. Additionally, a low ropes course is available for children aged three to six, making it the first Zipit location to accommodate this age group.
The park is situated on a former golf course at the edge of Djouce Woods, offering expansive views of the Wicklow countryside. Its location is easily accessible from Dublin via the N11 or the scenic Sally Gap route.
Zipit Forest Adventures aims to provide an exhilarating experience for individuals, families, school groups, corporate teams, and parties. Each session lasts three hours and includes a safety briefing. Tickets are available for advance booking at zipit.ie, with a 10% discount offered for first-time bookings made in June using the code FIRST10.
The opening of the Djouce Park adventure park is expected to create 15 new jobs, including ropes course instructors. Cian O’Callaghan, head of sales and marketing at Zipit Forest Adventures, expressed excitement about the new location, highlighting its stunning backdrop and the opportunity to introduce younger adventurers to the thrill of outdoor challenges.
