Construction is underway on Missouri’s newest major amusement destination, the Oasis at Lake of the Ozarks, which is slated to open by summer 2026. A recently released video offers an inside look at the progress made on one of the park’s coasters and hints at the thrilling experiences visitors can expect.
The $400 million development will include an outdoor amusement park, a hotel, a conference center, an indoor water park, and a variety of entertainment options. Among the twelve new rides planned is The Plunge, a 100-foot-tall drop tower designed to deliver an exhilarating experience. The park will also feature two new roller coasters and a 200-foot observation wheel, providing panoramic views of the lake and surrounding area.
