FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Yosemite National Park is set to fully reopen all 13 of its campgrounds for the summer season, making approximately 500 campsites available to the public for the first time since 2019.
Among the newly accessible campgrounds, White Wolf Campground, located along Tioga Road, is scheduled to open on June 20. Park officials advise visitors that the site will not provide drinking water, and only portable toilets will be available.
Tamarack Flat Campground, also on Tioga Road, will open three days later on June 23. While drinking water will not be accessible at this location either, vault toilets will be provided for campers.
Reservations for both White Wolf and Tamarack Flat campgrounds can be made through Recreation.gov beginning June 15 at 7 a.m.
Yosemite Creek Campground, another Tioga Road site, is scheduled to open on July 1. As with the other two sites, drinking water will not be available, though vault toilets will be in place. Reservations for Yosemite Creek can be made starting June 17 at 7 a.m. via Recreation.gov.
Opening dates for additional campgrounds, including Bridalveil Creek, Porcupine Flat, and Tuolumne Meadows, have not yet been announced. Further updates are expected as the summer season progresses.
