POTSDAM — The artistic talents of high school students from across St. Lawrence County are being showcased at SUNY Potsdam’s Gibson Gallery as part of the 2025 St. Lawrence County Regional High School Art Show.
Featuring more than 90 works of art, the exhibition includes contributions from students representing 11 area school districts: Canton, Clifton-Fine, Colton-Pierrepont, Gouverneur, Heuvelton, Lisbon, Massena, Norwood-Norfolk, Ogdensburg Free Academy, Parishville-Hopkinton, and Potsdam.
This year’s juror is Roxanne Locy, a SUNY Potsdam alumna from the Class of 1981. A seasoned educator and professional artist, Locy spent three decades teaching at the secondary level and five years in higher education. She currently operates Rockhead Creations, her pottery studio in Canton, and is recognized as a TAUNY Folkstore Artist for her vibrant and whimsical ceramic work.
The exhibition will remain open to the public through Friday, June 13. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, from 3 to 6 p.m.
The Gibson Gallery, located in Brainerd Hall on the SUNY Potsdam campus, offers free admission and is fully accessible to individuals with disabilities.
