Hersheypark is set to return with its annual Dark Nights Halloween Haunt for a fourth consecutive year, introducing a new haunted house and scare zone to its lineup. The event, designed for adult audiences, will run on select nights from Friday, September 12 through Sunday, November 2, alongside the park’s regular attractions.
The highlight for 2025 is the debut of Kill ‘N Fill Garage, a haunted house described by Hersheypark as a sinister mechanics bay filled with danger behind rusted fences. Visitors will navigate through shadowy offices, twisted wreckage, claustrophobic storerooms, and a blood-slicked car wash, with terror intensifying as the engines come to a halt. This new attraction replaces Descent: Catacombs of Decay in the event’s haunted house roster.
Returning haunted houses include Estate of Evil, Auntie Mortem’s Abattoir, Haunted Coal Mine, and Twisted Carnevil. Additionally, a fresh scare zone titled Path of Shadows: Coven’s Curse, featuring three malevolent witches, will join the established zones of Darkstone’s Hollow, Midway of Misery, and Fallout Zone.
Alongside the intense Halloween experiences, Hersheypark will continue to offer family-friendly activities such as trick-or-treat trails, the Creatures of the Night flashlight tour within ZooAmerica, and the returning stage show, Shake, Rattle and Glow: Monster Ball.
Distinct from many other theme park Halloween events, Dark Nights does not require separate admission; access is included with a Hersheypark season pass.
